WV Endangered Mountain on Radio in St. Louis

In case you missed, it, Cary Huffman (Ansted Historical Preservation Council) and Benji Burrell (Appalachian Voices) were featured on the radio program “Earthworms” this week. Benji explained why created the America’s Most Endangered Mountains videos series, then Cary shared his thoughts and experience with mountaintop removal mining on Gauley Mountain in West Virginia. Gauley Mountain is situated between the Gauley River National Recreation Area and the New River Gorge National Scenic River.
