Bloodroot, Black Cohosh and Ramp Workshop

Outside Asheville, NC, at Eagle Feather Organic Farm,

Robert Eidus and Robin Suggs is proud to present an afternoon of learning about harvesting, and marketing of Blood root, Black cohosh & Ramps.

A program is from 1 PM to 4 PM

Robert is Land Steward of Eagle Feather Farm, owner of the NC Ginseng and Goldenseal Company and has written two booklets on growing programs for ginseng and goldenseal in a chemical free environment. He has recently produced a video entitled Growing Goldenseal.

Robin Suggs, is founder of Yellow Creek Botanical Institute and is the current owner of MoonBranch Botanicals. Both Robert & Robin are Board members of the NC Natural Products Association

Come join us in a forest environment as the plants come up this spring. We will explore a rich Appalachian cove where Bloodroot, Black Cohosh and Ramps plants live. The 2nd class will be spent learning how to transplant the newly sprouted plants. The cultivation of native medicinal plants as a new business opportunity will be mentioned. New marketing strategies and marketing organizations will be highlighted. Current events and funding opportunities will be shared.
