Naomi Albert
North Carolina Field Coordinator
Originally from a small farm in Wisconsin, Naomi is currently located in Wilmington, North Carolina. She holds a B.S. in Natural Resource Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Prior to joining Appalachian Voices in 2023, Naomi worked with a nonprofit in rural Maine to support communities in transitioning to clean energy. In this role, she supported municipal climate action planning, led community engagement programs and supported the energy transition efforts of small businesses.
She has also worked with municipalities in California to support their efforts to plan for the impacts of climate change.
