Liz Holloway
Carbon Removal Project Manager
Now based in Lexington, Kentucky, Liz is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Ottawa and a Master in Environmental Studies with a Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment from York University.
Liz spent ten seasons “in the bush” leading reforestation projects, collecting native seed and planting trees by hand in British Columbia and Alberta. She also made contributions as a manager with educational and environmental non-profits, addressing adult literacy in the Arctic prior to relocating to Appalachia to focus on carbon removal.
Liz loves to make art, make jokes, read books and work out.
