Ridge Graham

North Carolina Program Manager

Ridge studied environmental biology and toxicology at Appalachian State University and joined Appalachian Voices in 2015.

He worked on the organization’s “Cleaning up Coal Ash” campaign, which facilitated the statewide coalition group “ACT Against Coal Ash.” This resulted in a settlement to remove 80 million tons of coal ash from unlined dumps in communities and waterways across the state — the largest cleanup of coal ash anywhere in the country.

Ridge now works with communities across North Carolina to limit wasteful gas plant and pipeline investments and to improve our energy industry to protect our air, water and health.
