Kaylee was raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where both sides of her extended family have established roots, dating back to the beginning of the Great Valley. She has spent numerous weekends exploring the counties and backroads of Virginia and is passionate about protecting rural landscapes and communities.
Kaylee is a fourth-year student at the University of Virginia, studying Architectural History with a concentration in Historic Preservation and a minor in Architecture. This past summer, she interned in the archives at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
In her free time, you can find Kaylee walking through historic neighborhoods and petting any cats she can find, playing tennis and pickleball, or baking for friends.
