Jessica is an Appalachian printmaker and book artist originally from Mingo County, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marshall University in 2020, focusing on community building through collaborative storytelling.

Now based in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, she spent three years organizing and making art with the STAY Project to foster creativity, community and power among Appalachian youth.
