Genevieve Silverman
Director of Finance and Operations
After a 25-year career in banking, finance and executive leadership roles, Genevieve joined Appalachian Voices in June 2022 as Director of Finance & Operations. She most recently served as CEO of Nexus Louisiana, a quasi-governmental organization, where for over 14 years she provided coaching, capital and connections to high-potential, technology-focused companies, in addition to designing and launching several programs to advance high-technology and entrepreneurship in Louisiana.
Born and raised in South Louisiana, Genevieve received a B.A. in history and political science from Louisiana State University, a M.A. in international finance and banking from Columbia University, and a pre-CPA certificate from University of New Orleans.
