Jan. 30: Transco Pipeline Expansion Community Meeting

Stop the Southeast Supply Enhancement Project

No matter where we call home, we all deserve peace of mind about the air we breathe and the water we drink. Unfortunately, a methane gas pipeline proposed to run through Guilford County could jeopardize the community’s safety and harm public health.

Williams Companies wants to construct a 54-mile methane gas pipeline and polluting compressor stations in Virginia and North Carolina. This pipeline project, the Southeast Supply Enhancement Project, is part of a larger plan to expand new fossil fuel infrastructure in North Carolina that would contribute to climate change and potentially increase customers’ energy bills.

Join our partner, 7 Directions of Service, on Thursday, Jan. 30, to learn more about the project, connect with advocates and other concerned community members, and find out how you can help protect your community.
