Join us on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Democracy Day. Why? We will be advocating for good governance legislation such as disclosure of dark money advertising, campaign finance limits and ethics reform, ranked choice voting, and access to the ballot. Let your legislators know you care about good governance. We will also be lobbying on Wednesday morning if you want to join us.

It’s time for a change. In 2020, Virginia ranked 46th in a state-by-state SWAMP Index that compared states anti-corruption measures. That’s not good. Until we change the way our government works, it’s almost impossible for us to seriously address other issues facing our society.

This third Democracy Day is being organized by an informal coalition of good governance organizations which advocate for campaign finance and ethics reform, rank choice voting, and voting rights.
