We’d love for you to join us for a special screening of “A Beast Touch the Mountain” — a moving documentary about the decade-long fight to protect Appalachian communities and land from the Mountain Valley Pipeline. All ticket proceeds will benefit Appalachian Voices.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 7:30-9 p.m. ET
Coolidge Corner Theatre
290 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA

The film follows a band of Appalachian women from Bent Mountain, Virginia, as they defend their home from a methane gas pipeline threatening parts of Virginia and West Virginia. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, James Mottern, an award-winning filmmaker originally from Virginia.

Get your ticket today! And thank you for supporting Appalachian Voices.
