In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Appalachian
State University Sustainable Energy Society, we are
hosting a reunion on April 7th and 8th, 2006. This
event is free and open to anyone with an interest in
renewable energy.Friday, April 7, will feature the workshop
“Sustainability and Appropriate Technology at
Appalachian and Beyond.” Professors will present some
of the exciting renewable energy developments
happening here at ASU and ASUSES Alumni will give
presentations on their careers in renewable energy and
sustainability. Current Solar Club members will be on
hand to discuss the incredible work they have been
involved in as of late. Refreshments will be provided.
Saturday, April 8, we will hold a reunion party at
the home of Matt Sands, our current vice president.
This will include a cookout,
scrap-booking/photo-sharing session, bonfire, and live
music, so bring your family, friends, old photo’s, and
instruments. This is a BYO event, but we will provide
grills, charcoal, etc. Rain or shine. Camping will be
available.Friday, April 7th

Location: Grand Room of the McKinney Alumni Center
(Directly across 321 from the Convocation Center,
parking available)
Afterwards: Networking Party at the Boone SaloonSaturday, April 8th
Event: Reunion Party – Cookout, photo sharing,
bonfire, and music
