Tell Congress: We want safe & healthy communities!
Rural and Appalachian communities have successfully used federal funding to adopt clean energy and energy efficiency projects, lowering costs and creating local jobs. However, President Trump paused spending on these programs. Some in Congress also seek to eliminate these job-creating initiatives in favor of tax breaks for corporations and billionaires. These locally-driven projects provide economic opportunities, reduce energy costs, and protect the region’s environment, but political uncertainty threatens to derail years of planning. Tell Congress to preserve these investments and secure a clean energy future for Appalachian communities!
