Brownfield Grants To Clean Up Coalfields

It’s not much, but at least it’s a start.

This week, the EPA doled out millions of dollars in grants for brownfield cleanups, with several hundred thousand going to Appalachian coalfield communities to help with environmental and economic recovery after the coal industry left town.
