The national Firewise Communities program is a resource for agencies, tribes, organizations, fire departments, and communities across the U.S. that are working toward a common goal: to reduce the loss of lives, property, and resources to wildland fire by building and maintaining communities that are compatible with our natural surroundings. On the website you can view the Firewise Newsletter or the interactive modules, videos, photos, how-to guides, and other helpful resources that are available. The site also contains a Firewise forum, a library, an events calendar, and a newsroom.
