Water Wars (Boone vs. ASU)

Appalachian State University may start selling some of its water to the town of Boone. The town and university have 2 separate water systems. The town is running out of water. ASU isn’t. However, many of the school’s facilities, including the State Farm Fields and the former “Quality Inn” –now a sorority dorm – use TOWN water. Town water benefits ASU in numerous ways, and I hope ASU is generous in repaying their debt to the Public Works of Boone.
