Caring for Creation

Again from Smokey Mountain News:

Caring for God’s Creation, a conference designed to teach church leaders about environmental challenges, will be held April 20-22 at Lake Junaluska. Climate change, energy use and ecology are among the topics to be discussed.

Event Coordinator and Good Word Resource Center Director Loy Lilley says…

“The earth is our home and we need to learn how to take better care of that home given us by God. You will learn how to take better care of creation by reducing use, reusing and recycling and how your church can do that also.”

For more information on the event and to get a brochure, go to www.sejumc.org or www.lakejunaluska.com.
