MTR: Fact of the Day #2
Mountaintop Removal Coal-mining has buried up to 1500 miles of Appalachian Streams.
Many of these polluted and buried streams serve as tributaries to major American Rivers on both sides of the Continental Divide, emptying into both the Gulf and Atlantic Ocean.
