2006 has already proved to be an exciting year for the student Clean Energy Movement!!
Some Southern highlights include:

* Warren Wilson College has announced that it’s purchasing 99% wind & 1% solar energy making it the first Southern campus to be powered by 100% renewable energy!
* University of Kentucky students just voted to raise their student fees $6-8/semester for clean energy!
* Over 70 youth from around the east coast met in WV this March to make the connection between their campus clean energy work, and the destructive & dirty coal mining in Southern West Virginia.
