Benji, Stephen, Abby, and Andrew take a rest after a whirlwind week of lobbying for the “Clean Water Protection Act” to stop Mountaintop Removal coal-mining. (We’re up to 65 co-sponsors and counting!)

A congressional briefing, held by Appalachian Voices, was attended by over 30 congressional offices. Representatives were given a detailed, in-depth look at the damage that Mountaintop Removal coal-mining does to our home. We owe a million thanks to Wilson Orr, who put together a spectacular presentation.
