Pound is powered by the people who care about the community and its future. That’s why working to stand up a Pound Community Association is our next step in working with the town. 

Community associations are organized groups of folks who work to lift up local priorities, undertake much-needed projects, and provide a place for coming together. After years of hearing from passionate community members, it’s time to build your visions together. Stipends will be provided for this initial meeting and it’s always fun to get involved!

Did you know that other community associations have already been making big strides across the coalfields? Residents in Dungannon voted to officially incorporate their Community Association and the Dante Community Association has been carrying out community improvement projects and disaster relief for years.
