You are invited to the Solar Workgroup of Southwest Virginia’s first community meeting of 2026. This meeting focuses on solar energy educational and training opportunities in far Southwest Virginia. If you’ve ever wanted to get under the hood of clean energy growth in our region, join us this month.

The Solar Workgroup is comprised of nonprofit and community action organizations, colleges, state agencies, and interested citizens and businesses helping to develop a renewable energy industry in the seven coalfield counties of Southwest Virginia.
The event is free, and we will provide dinner. All attendees will be entered into the door prize drawing for a Solar Workgroup Solsquatch t-shirt.
