ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. —  The first-ever Cheatham County Sasquatch Festival will be hosted by Preserve Cheatham County on Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival — featuring a 5k Squatch Run, Bigfoot impression and costume contests, craft vendors, food, drink, live music and more — is being held to oppose plans by the Tennessee Valley Authority to put a methane gas plant and pipeline in Cheatham County.
