New film highlights West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina communities that helped stop pipeline

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Appalachian Voices and the Southern Environmental Law Center announce an upcoming screening of the documentary film “Not On This Land: The Fight Against the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.”
Directed by Christopher Landry, the film showcases stories of impacted community members who fought against and helped defeat the fracked-gas Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Hear the incredible stories from West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina at this free screening at the beautiful Paramount Theater in downtown Charlottesville on Thursday, April 13 at 7 p.m.. After the screening, organizers will hold a moderated panel discussion about the ACP, featuring community leaders profiled in the film.
