Prepare attendees to have an impact during the upcoming legislative short session by building:
Consensus for a set of guiding principles regarding wind development for western North Carolina
A strong coalition of support for responsible commercial wind development in western North Carolina
Meeting Objectives:
Understand the interests and concerns of each party regarding wind development;
Share information about the opportunities for wind and protecting environmental resources (including view sheds); and
Identify next steps that can be taken collectively, or within your stakeholder group, to prepare for and have an impact on the legislative session.
