June 24: Public hearing on T-15 Pipeline in Wentworth, N.C.

Enbridge is seeking to build a 45-mile, high-pressure methane gas pipeline through Rockingham, Caswell and Person counties. Before it is allowed to proceed with the proposed project, it has to receive approvals on multiple permits from different regulatory agencies.

Right now, Enbridge is seeking a 401 water quality permit from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. NCDEQ is seeking feedback from the public before it makes a decision on the permit. Come to a public hearing with our partners Clean Water For North Carolina and 7 Directions of Service and share your concerns about this project!

Wentworth – T15 Pipeline State Water Permit Public Hearing

Tuesday, June 24 at 6 p.m.
Rockingham Community College,
Advanced Technologies Building Auditorium,
560 County Home Rd, Wentworth, N.C.

Gather outside starting at 5 p.m., sign up to comment at 5:30 p.m.

Pipeline construction can cause uncontrolled erosion and sedimentation pollution in nearby waterways. The proposed route would cross multiple wetland areas and over 7 miles of streams more than 100 times. You have the power — join us to speak out and tell NCDEQ to protect the community from this dangerous project!
