EVENT
Feb. 8 & 16: Join us for door-knocking in areas threatened by new pipeline projects!

North Carolina is facing a massive buildout of new proposed methane gas projects, including two new pipelines. Enbridge wants to build a 45-mile methane gas pipeline from Eden to Roxboro to feed two new gas power plants. At the same time, Williams Transco has plans to construct a 54-mile pipeline that would start in Virginia and cross four North Carolina counties.
These projects would pose significant safety and health risks to surrounding communities. Unfortunately, many community members are unaware of these projects due to the corporations’ lack of outreach.
We need your help going door-to-door to inform community members about these projects, the potential impacts and how they can help protect their community.
No prior experience is needed to join us! We will provide the training and resources to teach you how to canvass. We will also offer the option to carpool, depending on your location.
