‹ Return to The Means to More Efficient Ends

On the outside, the Empire State Building looks much like it did when it was built more than 80 years ago. But when renovations to make the building more energy efficient are completed this year, the iconic buildings’ owners will save $4.4 million annually, benefiting both the owners and their tenants.
