By taking advantage of government loans, a team at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, N.C., installed lighting upgrades and energy management tools that save the hospital more than $50,000 each year. Today, Ashe Memorial has reinvested those savings in the hospital, renovating its nursing and birthing centers, and opening a rehabilitation and wellness center.
