Eric Chance, Assistant Watauga Riverkeeper
Chance is our AmeriCorps Water Quality Associate for the Upper Watauga Riverkeeper. Eric graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a B.S. in Forestry, and is serving in Americorps through the Project Conserve program. As part of the Riverkeeper team, he assists with monitoring and conducting research on different types of water pollution, from sediment pollution to the impacts of coal, and helps to organize outreach events in order to promote stewardship of our waterways.
