Appalachian Voices needs your help protecting the land, air and water of the central and southern Appalachian region. We have offices in Boone, N.C., Charlottesville, Va., Norton, Va., Knoxville, Tenn., and Raleigh, N.C.

Bi-monthly Voice Volunteer Nights

Every other month, we host a fun volunteer night to prepare the latest issue of The Appalachian Voice newspaper for distribution in our seven-state region, complete with lots of laughter, free pizza and sodas! Dates may change depending on printing, so be sure to sign up for email notifications. Voice Volunteer Night starts at 6:00 p.m. and takes approximately an hour and a half to two hours.   • February/March issue: Monday, February 6
  • April/May issue: Monday, April 3
  • June/July issue: Monday, June 5
  • August/September issue: Monday, August 7
  • October/November issue: Monday, October 2
  • December/January issue: Wednesday, November 29

Where: 171 Grand Blvd, Boone, N.C. (takes place on the basement floor, come in through Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture entrance)
